Best Buy’s Black Friday 2020 Ad
Best Buy got a head start on its Black Friday 2020 deals by releasing several dozen of them during Amazon Prime Day, offering steep discounts on games, movies, 4K TVs, gaming laptops, and more. Now, the full Best Buy Black Friday ad is finally here, pulling back the curtain on the retailer’s holiday promotions. You can also shop select deals from the Black Friday ad for the next few days.

Best Buy Black Friday 2020 schedule

Best Buy hasn’t shared exact dates for its November Black Friday promotions, but it looks like they’ll be rolled out slowly through the entire month–a Nintendo Switch bundle, for example, is marked as starting on November 22, a full week before Black Friday itself. For now, Best Buy is pushing this weekend’s sale, which offers a chance to snag some Black Friday deals before they sell out. Depending on availability, we’ll see many of these deals return Black Friday weekend, but the best deals are yet to come.

Best gaming deals from Best Buy’s Black Friday ad

Best Buy’s Black Friday sale puts Amazon Prime Day to shame in a big way. The game deals available across Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, and Xbox One/Series X/S are some of the best we’ve seen all year, so thankfully it’s looking like we’re going to get a real Black Friday event this year. Though the ad doesn’t include start dates for any of the following deals, Best Buy will have big savings on brand-new releases and some of the biggest games of this year, like The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. You’ll also find first-party Nintendo games for $35 and excellent older games for incredibly cheap, like Nier Automata’s Game of the Yorha Edition for just $13.
According to the ad, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S will be restocked during Black Friday as well, though we expect them to sell out within minutes as usual. The ad does not give a start time for the restock, but the consoles will be available online only in “limited quantities.”
The sale also includes the best Black Friday deal on the Nintendo Switch console that we’ve seen so far this year. Unfortunately, it’s still a bundle and not an outright discount, but you can get a digital download of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe along with three months of Nintendo Switch Online and the console itself for $300.
Xbox players can also stock up on Game Pass Ultimate for Xbox One or Series X/S for cheap–three-month memberships will be $23 (instead of $45), and you can stack them. And if you’re still curious about Google Stadia, Best Buy has the first discount on it that we’ve ever seen. The Stadia Premiere edition will be down to $75 from $100 and gets you a white Stadia controller, Google Chromecast Ultra, and a free month of Stadia Pro.
Note that some of the following game discounts could be available on other platforms as well–we’ve only included platforms confirmed by the ad below. When Best Buy confirms start times for these deals, we’ll include that info here.

The best Black Friday deals live now

Best Buy’s early Black Friday sale this weekend is largely underwhelming on the games side, but it offers some great deals for PC gamers as well as markdowns on storage, TVs, and smart devices. While we wait for some of the incredible game discounts above to go live, here are some of the best Black Friday deals available right now through Sunday. These deals will be back during Black Friday itself, if there’s any stock left.
